This pottery flower vase is inspired by the wild flower meadows near where I live in Somerset.

Each one is hand thrown on Betty my pottery wheel in my log cabin studio in Somerset.

With its comforting vintage jar shape you’ll feel that you need to cup this beauty in your hands to get all the feels from from the texture of the stoneware clay and the throwing rings from the pottery wheel.

Fill it with fresh or dried flowers and it will become a stunning centre piece in your home.

I hand paint the vase by hand painting a house Martin flying over a wild flower meadow. Colourful poppies, cow parsley and daisies are depicted all around the vase. I then double dip into my ice blue and teal glazes representing the sky and the fields.

The pottery vase can be given as a gift to someone to show that they’re loved and appreciated and they make a lovely birthday gift.

The vase is handmade so may vary slightly in colour and size its approximately 13cm high and 9cm at the base.

dishwasher proof.
